A story of angels, demons, friendship, and the (maybe) apocalypse. Humor, heart, colorful characters and lots of lgbt+ characters (with special love for ace and aromantics, but you'll find folks of all ilks here!).

In a magical ‘university’ for angels and demons, a new angel decides to befriend a bullied imp, drawing the ire of Heaven and Hell in this two-book story. Strange and wonderful and ultimately hopeful.

Great for Good Omens fans and those who enjoy Angel/Demon mythology- there's plenty of lore, horrorterror angels, dukes of hell, and meditations on religion. But in a  FUN way.

  • Urban fantasy, focused on the fantasy: learn about Heaven, Hell, the culture, and the personalities of the angels and demons
  • Humor and hijinks: everything is better when it isn't entirely grimdark and dead serious. There's joy and jokes and weird little things in the world- like a principality angel named Satan's Kingdom
  • LGBT+ cast: angels don't conform to humanity's ideas of sex and gender, reflected in much of their culture... but they aren't alien either. One angel wonders where the line between sex and romance is, while another feels he must resist the want for a relationship because it puts someone else above his divine duty. There's also a transgender lesbian demon, an agender fiend who is questioning gender- and trying new, alt pronouns-, a genderfluid flock of pigeons, and plenty more. And to keep  it even, plenty of the humans are LGBT+ too.
  • G-d and worse: a story of religion, beyond the too-common Christian. While mostly using abrahamic (Christian, Jewish, Muslim) lore as its base, the story does not preach any belief over another, and is founded more on Universal Unitarian ideas of the universe.
  • Horrors abound!: Despite the room for the soft stuff, there's still drama, eerie environments, strange beings, and cosmic dread all around. It's the afterlife, after all, and the end of the world. Things might get bloody.
  • A happy ending: In the world we live in now... a happy ending counts. This duology is about the world falling into a mess, and ending as we know it, but it's also about standing up for your beliefs and choosing the path that helps the most people. It's about friendship, kindness, and empathy, despite the grim chaos around you.
  • Hell Yeah: it's a great pair of books.
